If you’re looking to buy or sell a home in Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, or Boynton Beach, you don’t just need a realtor—you need someone who knows these streets like the back of their hand. Someone who understands what makes South Florida living so special. That’s where Paul G. Lykins comes in.

Paul didn’t start in real estate. Like many folks, he spent years in sales, always chasing the next big opportunity. But in 2013, he decided to leap, looking for more flexibility and a career where he could build something for himself. It turns out that it was the ideal decision he had ever made. A year into the business, he obtained his broker’s license, showing his commitment to mastering the industry. After eight years with the same company, his efforts made significant progress. Today, he serves as a vice president, contributing to the leadership of the South Florida market.

One of the smart moves he ever made? Starting a YouTube channel. What began as a side project became a powerhouse, racking over 27,000 subscribers. “It’s been a game-changer,” Paul says. “People feel like they already know me before we even talk. That kind of trust? You can’t buy it.”

Of course, real estate isn’t all ocean breezes and palm trees. Currently, South Florida buyers are dealing with two significant challenges—high interest rates and skyrocketing homeowners insurance. “It’s keeping a lot of first-time buyers on the sidelines,” Paul explains. “But that doesn’t mean they’re out of options.” He takes the time to educate his clients on ways to reduce insurance costs and navigate the financing maze. It’s not just about closing deals for him—it’s about helping people get homes they can afford long-term.

So, where’s the market headed? Paul sees things shifting. “We’re moving into more of a buyer’s market,” he predicts. “Prices will keep adjusting because buyers wait for rates and insurance to settle down.” Until then, many are sticking with renting, but when the time is right, Paul will be ready to help them take that next step.

Could he change one thing about the real estate world? “More ethical agents,” he says without hesitation. “Too many people in this business don’t have their client’s interests at heart. They’re just chasing commissions. That’s not how I work.”

For Paul, real estate isn’t just a job—it’s a lifestyle. He worked around the clock early in his career, always on call. But over time, he learned the value of balance. “Now, I stick to an 8 AM to 8 PM schedule. It lets me be there for my clients while still having a life.” When he’s not helping people find their dream homes, you’ll find him fishing, hitting the beach, or traveling with his family. “Traveling opens your eyes,” he says. “It makes you appreciate different cultures, and in real estate, that’s huge. You meet people from all walks of life.”

Paul G. Lykins isn’t just selling homes—he’s helping people build futures. In a competitive market like South Florida, you need more than just an agent. You need someone who gets it, fights for you, and keeps it honest. If you’re ready to move to Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, or Boynton Beach, Paul’s the guy you want in your corner.
